Chateau Moulin de Tricot Margaux 2016 - Bordeaux, France
Varietals: Merlot & Cabernet Sauvignon
Pure Margaux in character with a great balance of ripe fruit and firm tannins.
Bruno Rey is the proprietor of Chateau Moulin de Tricot in Margaux, a family estate that has been passed down generation-to-generation since the 19th century. He farms organically and makes a very traditional, ageworthy style of Bordeaux based on a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot.
Vintage 2016 was a very successful one for this estate, and the wine is pure Margaux in character with a great balance of ripe fruit and firm tannin. The flavors range from black cherry and cassis, with earth and spice overtones. Enjoy with braised meats and stews or cellar for up to 15 years.
