Bieler Pere et Fils ''Sabine'' Rose 2020 - Coteaux d'Aix-En-Provence, France
Varietals: Grenache, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, and Rolle
The Bieler Rosé is a gem amongst pale pinks with its broad midpalate loaded with wild strawberry and bright berry fruit.
In 1992, Philippe Bieler, founded Chateau Routas in Coteaux Varois – a small appellation in the middle of Provence. The winery focused on Grenache-based red blends and rosé. It is there, starting in 1998, that his son Charles learned the wine business and started producing wine. In 2005, there was a great opportunity to sell the winery and estate and his father took it. The two founded Bieler Père et Fils that same year and have never looked back. It’s truly breathtaking to see how far the rosé market in America has developed from those challenging early days.
