Benoit is an eighth generation vigneron that returned to the family estate after working for Bollinger. He is committed to natural farming and aims to craft unadultered, pure Pinot Meunier. He purchased this 1.7 hectare vineyard and farms it biodynamically. The Cuvee La Rue de Noyers, is named for the walnut trees that line the parcel.
The Champagne house of Déhu Père et Fils was founded in 1787. Benoit Déhu represents the eighth generation of vignerons at this historic but under the radar estate located on the far Western edge of the Vallée de la Marne. After a fruitful stint at Bollinger, Benoit returned to the family domaine and immediately began steering the estate towards organic and biodynamic viticulture. Since 2013, the estate has been producing its own barrels.
